Responsibilities

Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English

Work either lead or be part of a team of linguists supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations

Required

B.A. obtained in U.S. or in country of language skill

TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required to work

5+ years of related experience

Language tests needed for position with minimum score: SLR - 4, Translation - 3+, Interpretation - 3

Polished skills in core linguistic functions and linguistic services

Core functions of translation, transcription and interpretation are key

Required Subject Matter Expert Skills: Cyber, Economics, Military, Science and Technology

Required Ancillary Skills: Scanning, Selection, Workflow

Preferred

Previous military experience

Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects

Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities

Desired Subject Matter Expert Skills: Counter-Proliferation, Geospatial

Desired Ancillary Skills: Collection, Content Management, Writing Reports
