They are seeking a Machine Operator responsible for forming metal parts using various machines and ensuring that production meets blueprint specifications while prioritizing safety.

Responsibilities

At all times ensures safety is a top priority while performing any part of the job

Follow instruction given by Supervisor

Operates machines to form parts per specifications identified on the blueprint

Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

Changes out tooling as required to meet blueprint specifications

Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction

Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation

Stacks and transports finished workpieces for delivery to the next station

Operates machines at production level with little supervision

Reads and comprehends basic blueprints

Safely operator basic hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.)

Required

High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
