Application Engineer Intern

Responsibilities
Applications engineers work as a bridge between customers and engineering teams
They use customer input and sales information to coordinate with engineering teams who then design or redesigns, develops, tests, and implements complex software problems and applications
They provide technical support and expertise to customers by testing applications and responding to feedback
They perform installations and maintenance and often perform sales presentations and demonstrations on various vehicle platforms
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering or a related field (engineering discipline required)
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Valid Passport
Preferred
Ability to produce detailed but concise written work instructions pertaining to customer requirements, production improvements, purchasing assistance, etc
Experience with engine harnesses and CAN bus applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn new tasks outside of main discipline
Have a high sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations, and achieve daily commitments
