Responsibilities
Assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman Clients utilizing the “The Sam Style” model, and providing an inviting world class experience with a customer-first approach
Actively engage and build relationships with customers
Assist store leadership with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guideline and expectation
You’ll do your part to keep the store clean, organized, safe and easily shoppable
Meet performance metrics by exhibiting a passion and enthusiasm for the brand and embracing and promoting company initiatives, contests and strategies
Deliver clear, concise and timely communication to Store Team & Store Sales Manager
Engage in our professional store culture where all associates’ contributions are valued, respected and appreciated
Completes other projects and assignments as directed by management
Qualification
Required
Previous experience working with a luxury or contemporary fashion brand
Ability to assist in the overall shopping experience for all Sam Edelman Clients utilizing the 'The Sam Style' model
Ability to actively engage and build relationships with customers
Ability to assist store leadership with executing product placement and visual standards consistent with company guidelines
Ability to keep the store clean, organized, safe and easily shoppable
Ability to meet performance metrics by exhibiting a passion and enthusiasm for the brand
Ability to deliver clear, concise and timely communication to Store Team & Store Sales Manager
Engagement in a professional store culture where all associates' contributions are valued, respected and appreciated
Ability to complete other projects and assignments as directed by management
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to build constructive and effective relationships within the store
Demonstrates an ability to communicate positively with store associates at all levels
Must exercise independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager and/or Assistant Managers, as needed
Working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
