Responsibilities
Researching and drafting memos on technical issues for the Compliance Practice Leaders; researching new regulations, legislation or other policy developments
Preparing client-specific memos and documents
Other tasks as requested by the Compliance Practice Leader or National Compliance Staff
Attending both internal and external meetings
Qualification
Required
enrollment in a JD program
beginner knowledge of ERISA and related legislation and regulations
excellent communication skills (oral/written)
excellent interpersonal/relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate with and positively influence others
ability to quickly and effectively perform research involving federal and state legal issues
