Responsibilities

Support development of engineering and licensing requirements and documentation for nuclear systems and components in an interactive manner with other engineering functional areas
Prepare, review, maintain, and defend licensing documentation supporting the SMR-300 design
Prepare and defend position papers for areas where the existing regulatory framework does not apply, or where there is a need for new or revised regulatory requirements or guidance
Prepare and deliver licensing presentations to internal and external organizations
Support project management for activities including development of licensing submissions
Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810 without specific authorization

Qualification

NRC regulatory affairsEngineering degreeTechnical writingMicrosoft Office proficiencyEffective communication

Required

BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated technical writing skills and effective communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
>8 years experience with NRC regulatory affairs
Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810 without specific authorization
