Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile Practices: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coach the team on Agile principles and practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement
Team Support: Act as a servant-leader for the Scrum team, helping them achieve their goals and maintain focus on delivering value
Shield the team from external interruptions and ensure effective communication with stakeholders
Impediment Management: Identify and remove roadblocks or escalate them as necessary to maintain team productivity
Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for sprints
Facilitate effective collaboration between cross-functional teams
Progress Tracking and Reporting: Track sprint progress using Agile tools and metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and team performance indicators
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on sprint progress and team performance
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive their implementation
Promote a culture of innovation and learning within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within Agile software development teams
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and software development lifecycle
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
Preferred
Familiarity with scaling frameworks like SAFe or LeSS
Technical background or understanding of software development processes
Experience in coaching teams transitioning to Agile methodologies
