Training Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
Administration of Learning & Development software - onboarding and offboarding and performance measurements
Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging training technologies (e.g., VR/AR, AI-driven learning platforms, virtual labs) to recommend innovative solutions that enhance the organization’s learning strategy
Manage and maintain training systems, ensuring they are configured, available, and deployed to the correct locations when needed
Coordinate and execute setup and teardown of training equipment for both regular sessions and large-scale merger training initiatives
Provide direct, on-site, and remote technical support to trainers during sessions, resolving technical challenges quickly to minimize disruptions
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues impacting training systems and equipment
Partner with Training, IT, and Operations teams to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth deployment of systems
Maintain an accurate inventory of training equipment and ensure readiness for travel and deployment
Document processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a field and desktop technician or maintenance role
Demonstrated experience in technical support, IT maintenance, and training roles, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
Strong knowledge of banking technology systems, hardware, and software applications
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities and capable of working autonomously
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing IT systems
Strong organizational and inventory management skills
Experience with inventory management systems, asset management practices or a related field
Familiarity with various operating systems, software applications, and IT infrastructure
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to train and support non-technical staff
Lifting and Travel required
Some nights and weekends are required

Certifications related to asset management a plus
