Branch Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to grow the branch’s customer base and deposit portfolio
Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen relationships with existing customers and attract new business clients
Represent the bank at community and networking events to promote services and build relationships with local businesses and organizations
Ensure the branch meets or exceeds established financial goals, including revenue, deposit growth, and loan production targets
Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics and implement action plans to address areas for improvement
Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, security, and transaction processing
Manage expense budgets to optimize profitability while maintaining operational efficiency
Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to develop a high-performing and customer-focused team
Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
Address employee concerns and provide guidance to support professional development
Champion a culture of exceptional customer service by modeling and reinforcing high standards
Address escalated customer issues and complaints promptly and effectively
Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvements and innovation
Act as a visible and active member of the community, participating in local events and charitable initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and organizations to enhance the bank’s reputation and identify partnership opportunities
Ensure all branch activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a compliant and secure branch environment
Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and ensure staff training on compliance updates
