Responsibilities

Act as a Chemical Engineering resource
Recommend and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
Assist with recommendations for day-to-day troubleshooting
Lead and participate in incident investigations
Participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA)
Lead capital projects for various improvements
Provide environmental support
Travel requirements are less than 10%

Chemical EngineeringProcess Hazards AnalysisChemical Manufacturing ExperienceSix Sigma Green BeltOralWritten Skills

Required

BS in Chemical Engineering
Demonstrated basic knowledge of typical equipment used in a Chemical Plant (i.e. pumps, compressors, piping, distillation columns, reactors, refrigeration machines, etc.)
Good Oral and Written skills
Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc
Five years or more of engineering experience

Preferred

10 years or more of experience in a chemical manufacturing process
Experience leading/participating in Process Hazards Analyses
Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) Certification
