Responsibilities

Own Chime’s overarching corporate editorial strategy—aligned with business priorities, Corporate Affairs narratives, and reputational goals
Act as a player-coach—shaping strategy while also creating content hands-on
Develop and manage a dynamic, strategic editorial calendar for corporate channels (e.g. newsroom, blog, newsletters)
Set clear messaging pillars and editorial standards to unify voice across owned, earned, and social media ecosystems
Partner with Communications, Legal, Policy, Marketing, and Exec teams to translate strategy into content
Drive channel-specific strategies across LinkedIn, Medium, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging formats
Oversee day-to-day publishing, engagement, and analytics
Develop scalable formats that adapt content across channels—blog-to-video, post-to-op-ed, podcast-to-snackable social
Collaborate with external creators, validators, and partners to amplify stories authentically and strategically
Use AI-based influencer discovery and sentiment tools to optimize voice selection and placement
Lead and grow a cross-functional team of writers, editors, designers, video producers, and AI content specialists
Integrate AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Sora, Runway, Synthesia, ElevenLabs) into content creation workflows to accelerate speed and scale
Build human-in-the-loop editorial systems that balance creativity with quality and governance
Build a self-learning content system: integrate A/B testing, real-time analytics, and reputation feedback loops into editorial decision-making
Partner with the Insights team to convert data into actionable storytelling opportunities
Define KPIs to evaluate reach, engagement, and narrative effectiveness—and iterate accordingly

Required

10+ years in corporate communications, digital media, or brand storytelling
Proven success leading editorial and social media strategy in fintech, tech, or policy-influenced industries
Exceptional editorial judgment, with a journalistic instinct for clarity, nuance, and strategic timing
Experience building high-performing creative teams and managing agency or contributor networks
Familiarity with CMS platforms, SEO, and content analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, GA, Notion AI, Jasper)
Comfort navigating complex environments, including regulated industries and executive stakeholder groups
