Ashley Furniture Industries is the largest manufacturer of home furnishings in the world, and they are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their Operations team. This role involves managing various HR responsibilities including time and attendance administration, employee scheduling, and supporting HR initiatives and special events.

Responsibilities

Audit, maintain and ensure employee time-keeping and absentee records are accurate, in partnership with supervisors

Review attendance reporting and prepare corrective action documents

Maintain employee schedules in timekeeping and HRIS systems

Assist with management of Attendance Call In Log

Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, HRIS system access and questions, benefits, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management

Assists with required training, including quarterly compliance training and UKG Access

Assists with HR site initiatives including tracking and data collection with such as training programs and new hire onboarding, and other initiatives as designated

Assists with special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events and other company celebrations as necessary

Assists with new hire orientation as necessary

Performs other duties as assigned
