As an Access and Security Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting security devices, maintaining facilities, and working within a team to ensure the safety and functionality of the systems.

Responsibilities

Pull, support, terminate, and test low voltage cables

Install and troubleshoot surveillance and access devices and equipment

Repair and maintain doors and locks

Climb ladders and work from elevated positions on aerial lifts

Use hand tools and power tools such as power drills and hammer drills

Repair, install, and service facilities, properties, and equipment

Report maintenance requirements

Other duties as assigned by leadership

Drive company vehicles such as pick up trucks, small vans, and passenger vehicles

Qualification

Required

More than two years of experience

DMV check is required

Must have a valid CA Drivers License

Adept at reading design plans

Comfortable working in new construction sites or on remodeling projects

Familiar with job-site safety rules and equipment

Work with minimal supervision

Perform manual labor, extensive walking, standing, kneeling, carrying, and climbing ladders

Willing to work overtime and on weekends

Basic computer knowledge

Team player

Read, write, and speak English

Experience with power tools

Basic construction knowledge

Preferred

Knowledge of Access, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and Security Systems
