Electrical Commissioning Agent – Data Center/Mission Critical (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the commissioning process for assigned projects
Conduct field functional testing, create checklists, document test results, and maintain issue logs and reports
Participate in meetings, support project management tasks, follow internal procedures and industry standards, and ensure safe work practices
Stay current through ongoing professional development

Required

A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or a related field, or industry commensurate experience
2+ years of industry-related experience and 2+ years of experience in datacenter commissioning, operations or construction
ANSI/ISO accredited commissioning certification (required for Commissioning Authority)
Strong technical knowledge of datacenter electrical system design, operation, and instrumentation
Proficiency in project management, encompassing scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
Exceptional client-facing, client relationship, and client management skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Data center Electrical systems commissioning experience
Ability to work autonomously and in team environments
Safety first mindset
Travel expectation up to 50%

Preferred

PE license or Energy Management certifications (a plus)
Utility and medium voltage electrical systems commissioning and/or testing experience (a plus)
Infrared Thermography certification (a plus)
Managing QA/QC processes (a plus)
Experience gained from military service maintaining, operating and/or testing nuclear power or other power systems
Experience gained in commissioning, testing, or quality assurance of medium voltage power systems that include power plants, solar, electric vehicle charging, critical power systems and more
