They are seeking an Operations Specialist to ensure the maintenance and compliance of site and building conditions, coordinating inspections, and managing vendor performance across multiple project locations.

Responsibilities

Timeliness in deliverables: monthly inspection and compliance reports received ahead of deadline

Provide annual update on building systems to inform the capital improvement plans

Vendor compliance is routinely reviewed, shortfalls addressed and documented, and performance plans in place to ensure quality of service

Manage vendor performance and compliance with service agreement and department standards

Collaborate with other departments to update the capital improvement plans

Coordinate inspections to monitor site and facility conditions at multiple project locations

Ensure work completed by staff and contractors has been completed satisfactorily. Provide feedback and set expectations, following up on any deficiencies

Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise

Maintain current knowledge of individual area of expertise. Provide updates to team as needed

Establish good working relationships with other team members

Foster positive communications and relationships with tenants, owners, and building staff

Keep up to date on industry trends and developments

Adhere to company policies and procedures

Actively participate in meetings as requested

Other duties as assigned

Required

Associate degree, trade school, or technical certification preferred. May be substituted with High School Diploma and 4 years of progressive experience in a similar technical role

Minimum 2 years of related industry experience

Complete knowledge of facility equipment and facility maintenance programs and procedures

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Strong knowledge of safety principles and practices

Ability to identify and recognize unsafe conditions or work practices

Effective communication skills

Keen attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient typing skills are also required

Professional in appearance and character

Able to work well in a collaborative environment
