Responsibilities
Manage the directory and authentication system (currently Microsoft Active Directory) for up to 3,500 staff and 10,000 computing devices (servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones)
Ensure support staff can perform regular Windows 10/11 default OU computer cleanup tasks
Oversee Active Directory user and computer account cleanup to maintain security and compliance
Manage account lifecycle tasks, including account deletions, renames, restores, and mailbox restores, in compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Maintain documentation of procedures and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent and reliable operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Minimum 6 years of experience in system engineering or authentication system management
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or under general direction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to explain technical issues to non-technical users
U.S. Citizen, eligible for a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
Prior experience supporting federal government environments
