PRN Radiologic Technologist - Orthopedic Clinic - Up to 29 hours a week

They are seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to serve a high volume of patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic, focusing on delivering superior customer service and quality care.

Responsibilities
Selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on an individual patient basis to obtain optimum image quality with lowest amount of radiation
Work one-on-one with patient to complete x-rays that are ordered
Positions patient and adjusts equipment for performing images following procedures established by Forté Sports Medicine & Orthopedics
Follows prescribed safety standards for operating radiology equipment
Maintains patient confidentiality as outlined by HIPAA and policies of Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics
Examines images for film properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification and distortion
Qualification
Required
Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), required
Current certification with the ARRT and the State of Indiana, required
Knowledge of computerized radiology (CR), digital radiography (DR), and PACS system, required
Preferred
Prior experience using Electronic Medical Records systems is preferred
