Responsibilities

Design and implement high-throughput automated workflows for R&D projects
Optimize plate-based cell culture and analytical assays
Program liquid handling systems and robotic automation tools
Integrate automated data acquisition and processing pipelines
Collaborate with scientific teams to identify automation opportunities
Develop scripts and APIs to enhance system interoperability
Support integration with data management and control platforms

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
2+ years of experience in lab automation or bioprocessing
Proficiency in Python, VBA, or structured text scripting
Ability to prototype and iterate automation solutions quickly
Experience integrating LIMS or cloud-based data systems
Strong problem-solving and learning mindset
Familiarity with liquid handling systems and workflow automation

Preferred

Experience with liquid handling systems (Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman, Opentrons, or similar) and workflow automation
Experience with DeltaV DCS, process automation, or SCADA systems
Familiarity with bioreactors, PAT tools, and real-time analytics
Experience in working with automation powered by machine learning or workflows assisted by artificial intelligence
Knowledge of cloud-based automation solutions and digital twins
