Support critical projects within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community

Model, simulate, and analyze hypersonic systems

Manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced R&D environment

Convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate effectively across disciplines and departments

Required

U.S. Citizen

Master's Degree ( or Bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience) in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in DoD or IC programs

Active TS/SCI with willingness to complete a CI Polygraph

Strong knowledge of hypersonic aerothermodynamic phenomenology

Proficiency in using high-fidelity CFD modeling applications

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced R&D environment

Strong communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and departments, while also being self-sufficient when needed

Preferred

Advanced experience in GEOINT processing research and development

Extensive experience with academic, government, or commercial CFD tools and workflows

Expertise in modeling and simulating advanced foreign weapon systems' aerodynamic performance and signatures

6+ years of relevant experience in the field

Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with coursework and/or research in the fields of hypersonics, physical gas dynamics, or numerical methods

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
