Qualification
Required
A completed Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field at the time of hiring
Experience in and enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate courses
Desire to contribute to the growth of a strong Engineering Department
Demonstrate evidence of strong research productivity
Potential for external funding
Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and graduate mentoring
Enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of a vibrant and inclusive Engineering Department
Preferred
Candidates focusing on work in the areas of superconducting quantum computing, quantum information processing, quantum electronic devices and systems, quantum sensing, quantum control, quantum materials, atomic and molecular quantum systems, and quantum nano- and optomechanics
