Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate construction activities of general contractors and/or subcontractors
Assist leadership in processing paperwork to expedite construction activities
Communicate and document all changes in scope to the project manager or client, especially any that impact cost, quality, schedule and safety
Exercise judgement in evaluation of installed standard construction features to determine conformance with contract documents
Provide input for updating project schedules, pay requests, progress reports and cost/budgeting reports
Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data for RE/PM/Client
Perform other duties including on-site safety inspections, document control, verifying project schedules and monitoring daily logs and status reports as needed
Be liaison between design engineer and construction staff when require
Assist Procurement as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects
Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred

5+ years related experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
A collaborative team attitude driven to remove obstacles from team progress
Preference given to local candidates
