Open-Rank Tenure-Track or Tenured Professor, Chemical Engineering
Oklahoma State University is embarking on bold energy initiatives to address global challenges related to energy through research, education, and outreach. The School of Chemical Engineering seeks applications for an open-rank, tenure-track or tenured faculty position focused on building a nationally recognized research program in the energy area and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in energy.

Responsibilities
Build a nationally recognized, extramurally funded research program in the energy area that enhances the OSU research portfolio
Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of energy
Qualification
Required
Earned doctorate in chemical engineering or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited or equivalent program
Strong interest in both undergraduate and graduate education
Record of achievement that merits appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level (for those applying at these levels)
Preferred
Industrial experience
Ability to build a nationally recognized, extramurally funded research program in the energy area
Opportunities to partner with local industry in the energy area on industrial-scale projects
Experience in teaching and developing undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of energy
