Responsibilities
Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs
Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing
Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track
Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals
Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes
Ensure adherence to company policies, ITAR, FAR/DFAR regulations, and maintain accurate procurement records
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
2+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
Experience with aerospace/defense industry standards, ITAR compliance, and FAR/DFAR regulations
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
Preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
