Responsibilities

Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment
Offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training
Serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC
Provide a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities

Required

An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Bachelors degree in Science with 2 years' experience, Masters degree with no experience, or 6 years' experience in lieu of degree
Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications as per DODI 1322.29
Ability to contribute to the development of technical documentation
Knowledge of full software lifecycle and agile development methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate in a team environment
Highly motivated, self-learner, team player, and technically inquisitive
Able to obtain IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01 such as CASP+ or Security+ within 60 days of start date

Preferred

Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); certification is a plus
Proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Design and Programming
Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) containerized application development (e.g. Docker, Podman)
Familiarity with container orchestration tools and techniques (e.g. Kubernetes, helm, flux)
Knowledge of the Atlassian toolset (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience leveraging Git for code management
