Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain the foundational cloud network infrastructure for the Moody’s Analytics Platform on AWS and Azure

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cross-cloud network solutions

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot cloud NGFWs and other network security appliances

Develop automation and processes to deploy, manage, and scale network infrastructure using IaC principles

Perform network maintenance, including firmware updates, patches, and security configurations

Conduct network security and vulnerability assessments and collaborate with security teams to address findings

Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure-related issues, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes

Create and maintain clear documentation for network architecture, processes, and maps

Assist in mentoring junior team members and contribute to strategic improvements in architecture and tooling

Required

5+ years of industry experience in cloud network engineering or a related infrastructure role

Experience with Palo Alto networking technologies (NGFW, Panorama) is required

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a strong understanding of cloud-native network infrastructure

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Harness, or similar

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools—such as Copilot and ChatGPT—can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
