Internal Wholesaler (Inside Sales)

Toews Asset Management is seeking an Internal Wholesaler to work directly with financial advisors and develop expertise in asset management. The role involves building relationships, making outbound calls to prospect new advisors, and assisting financial advisors in analyzing client financial information.

Responsibilities

Partner with your designated territory team to develop and execute a business plan that maximizes sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisors, RIAs, and industry partners
Make proactive outbound calls to prospect new advisors and identify sales opportunities
Schedule quality appointments for external wholesalers with producing or high-potential RIAs
Serve as a product expert on Toews’ Model Portfolios, Mutual Funds, and ETFs
Assist financial advisors in analyzing client financial information to recommend appropriate strategies
Consistently execute 100+ outbound touches per day to drive engagement and growth
Be present in the NYC office at least 4 out of 5 days each week to foster collaboration, training, and team culture

Required

Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, driven mindset
Strong sales acumen and consultative business development skills
In-depth knowledge of Model Portfolios, Mutual Funds, and ETFs
Proven ability to build and strengthen relationships with advisors and their staff
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of financial services sales experience
FINRA Series 7 and 63 plus Series 65 (or 66) are required within 3 months of hire
Be present in the NYC office at least 4 out of 5 days each week to foster collaboration, training, and team culture

Preferred

Existing relationships within the RIA and financial advisor community
MBA or designations such as CFA, CAIA a plus
We prefer licensed candidates
