Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering on security during design/development/testing
Perform technical security assessments, code audits and design reviews
Assist with technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities
Develop Threat Models using industry best practices
Generate security requirements for Waymo engineering and suppliers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Programming Languages - Understand C and C++
Solid understanding of Cryptography
System security of complex architectures
Network / Server side security, Authentication (AAA)
Security at Google
Threat Modeling, Security Best Practices
Preferred
Experience with Google infrastructure security, auth (AAA)
Experience in operating system internals and hardening (e.g. Linux, Android)
Experience in code auditing
Experience writing security requirements
Experience with network protocols and secure network design
Experience with secure Server to Device / Device to server network communications
