Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 8-10 engineers to deliver high impact work
Responsible for coaching engineers, managing/reviewing technical documentation, and articulating a phased approach to achieving the team's overall technical vision
Be responsible for the mission, technical direction, and operations of projects that have immediate impact
Owning the systems that make our data discoverable and usable to power features that 50,000+ customers rely on daily to reach 4B+ consumers to drive their business forward
Partnering with teams across the company to help them manage and leverage petabytes of data

Required

BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software engineering in a DevOps environment with specific experience in data processing systems
3+ years of people management experience
Experience writing code using best practices in a language such as Python, Java, Go, etc
Experience designing, building, and operating reliable, fault-tolerant, and high performance distributed systems
Proven ability to come up to speed quickly
You've already experimented with AI in work or personal projects, and you're excited to dive in and learn fast. You're hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows, finding ways to make your work smarter and more efficient
