Responsibilities

Assist in the design and documentation of instrumentation and control systems
Support the development of P&IDs and AFNIDs, ensuring instrumentation accuracy and proper material selection
Generate specifications, data sheets, schematics, and plan drawings for control system fabrication and installation
Conduct field surveys and site investigations to inform design decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, mechanical, and electrical engineers
Participate in construction administration and respond to RFIs and submittals
Use AutoCAD and Revit to support 3D modeling and design documentation
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Qualification

Required

ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering
0–3 years of experience in instrumentation and controls, preferably in a design firm setting
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam registration or completion preferred

Preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with electrical codes and instrumentation standards
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to perform basic design calculations under supervision
Experience conducting field surveys and supporting field reporting
Interest in life sciences and advanced technology projects
