5+ years expCACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Software Engineer/Developer to join their Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration team in Northern Virginia. The role involves supporting the infrastructure that helps CBP keep borders safe, including database development and management, while working in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities
Research, design, and implement development solutions
Gather and organize user requirements, forming a detailed backlog
Develop, test, and deploy analytic applications, incorporating user feedback
Perform data analysis and database design/development
Ensure database security, integrity, and performance
Support software release activities and Agile development practices
Collaborate with a diverse, geographically separated team
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to: 3-year check for felony convictions, 1-year check for illegal drug use, 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
Applicable combination of education and experience: Software Database Developer T3 - College degree (B.S.) in relevant area of study and five (5) years or more experience in incremental software development projects; Senior Software Database Developer T4 - College degree (B.S.) in relevant area of study and seven (7) years or more experience in incremental software development projects
Strong coding skills in C#, .NET, Angular, Java, Python, etc
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Coding in C#, .NET, Angular, Java, Python, Ruby, etc
Utilizing SQL Server
Front or back end developer
CSS3, Less, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
Integration with hardware devices and vendor SDKs
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above
Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL configuration
SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS (version 12c or higher) running on Linux and Windows Server environments
