Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the multi-functional NPI team throughout all phases of the product development lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
Collaborate closely with hardware, software, marketing, test, and manufacturing teams from initial planning and high-level specification through detailed design and documentation review
Oversee and supervise simulation, verification, and validation activities to ensure design integrity
Participate in hardware bring-up and testing, working with Test Engineers to develop and execute comprehensive product test plans
Ensure effective transition from development to production by serving as the primary engineering project liaison with the Operations group
Develop and manage schedules and budgets for all prototype and pilot builds
Provide key project deliverables, updates, and status reports to the wider Operations team
Partner with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) buyers on material planning and procurement
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to develop and implement factory readiness plans
Work with the Supply Chain team to develop and refine production costing estimates
Support ongoing product sustaining activities, driving continuous improvement and issue resolution for released products

Required

12.5+ years of experience working in the electronics industry
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Demonstrated project management leadership, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to successful completion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation abilities
Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to drive tasks to timely completion
In-depth knowledge of product development through a structured cycle
Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOM) structures and release management
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), deviations, and related processes
General knowledge of production build environments, including PCBA, cables, sheet metal, and related manufacturing processes
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or similar platforms, and Microsoft Office apps

Preferred

Experience with Atlassian tools – Jira and Confluence
