Embedded Software Engineer, Low Voltage Power
Tesla is a leading electric vehicle manufacturer looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Low Voltage Power Firmware Team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality embedded C code for power management firmware and collaborating with integration and validation engineers to ensure code quality and performance capabilities.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment
Specify, design, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems
Design the software architecture and firmware implementation through integration, testing and high-volume manufacturing
Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging and code optimization
Writing component level tests to ensure proper functionality
Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of relevant experience in embedded design
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics experience with evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
Experience with fundamental hardware components on PCB and their analysis tools
Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including circuit analysis and design
Proficiency in C, comprehension of Python
Fluent in software fundamentals including software design and maintainability
Experience with the embedded microprocessor tools
Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts
Preferred
Experience with mentoring / providing technical guidance for other development engineers
