Responsibilities

Responsible for developing, designing, and managing all electrical design of complex projects in the life sciences field, especially with pharmaceutical, laboratory, and clean room design experience
Weekly reporting to individual project managers on project status, budget, and schedule
Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings
Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes and cGMP standards
Develop proposals and client presentations
Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time

Required

PE is required
Must be able to commit to a hybrid work schedule with at least 3 days in the Cary, NC office
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co-workers
Ability to set priorities, to be self-disciplined and consistent
Ability to multi-task between different project assignments
Good written and oral communications skills
Computer literacy in MS Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360 is required
Graduate from an engineering curriculum accredited by the Accreditation for Engineering and Technology (A.E.T.) or from a non-accredited engineering curriculum or related engineering science or with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of ten (10) years' experience designing and managing projects independently and has a thorough understanding of the principles of the discipline he/she is designing

Preferred

Experience in the pharmaceutical, laboratory, and clean room design field
Familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes and cGMP standards
