Responsibilities

Performing quality radiographic procedures

Maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members

Complying with infection prevention procedures

Keeping accurate records

Ensuring radiation safety

Involvement in student education, orientation of new employees, and quality assurance

Caring for equipment

Admitting and discharging patients, taking vital signs and patient history at specific locations

Actively participating in customer service areas and communicating effectively to resolve client concerns and requests

Accepting responsibilities of other staff, including the supervisor, in their absence or as required

Qualification

Required

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), or Doctor of Chiropractic license

Knowledge in radiography equipment, radiation safety practices, minor industrial injury care, light duty and BWC processes

Up to 1 year of experience in a clinical Allied Health medical/physician office setting
