The Low Voltage Power Engineer will support the integration and development of the external lighting system and low voltage electrical system power distribution, ensuring compliance with certification requirements and leading test executions.

Responsibilities

Support trade studies related to external lighting system architecture

Contact and assess possible suppliers capabilities (technical, risks, quality, cost, weight)

Create, validate and verify equipment, subsystem and system levels requirements (ARP4754)

Create and review engineering deliverables required from development to certification (e.g.: drawings, ICDs, test plan, test procedures/reports, technical requirement documents, manuals)

Work closely with other systems/teams (e.g.: installation, maintainability, human factor, pilot) to define the interfaces

Lead the execution of tests to support the integration of the External Lighting System into External labs and Flight Test Facilities

Provide support to safety activities (ARP4761 tasks - FHA, PSSA, CMA, FMEA, SSA)

Support Low voltage electrical system power distribution development
