Supplier Quality Engineer II

BSH Home Appliances Corporation is a leading manufacturer of home appliance brands Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador. They are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to ensure quality parts are received from suppliers, lead audits, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Accountable for all aspects of supplier administration to ensure that facilities receive quality parts
Travel to suppliers to lead audits, conduct workshops, problem solve, and advise
Monitoring supplier performance
Work closely with QMP and Engineering to find root cause and develop solutions
Supplier problem clarification and resolution
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions to non-conformities
Assist setting up Supplier receiving inspection criteria in SAP
Dimensional support ( or receiving inspection and FPI approval)
Line return (zero hour failure) analysis
Regular communication with all suppliers for returned parts and product non conformities
Cooperates with assembly and production and groups as necessary
Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Quality Engineering)
3-5 Years of Experience (Manufacturing (labor intensive) experience)
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and be prompt in meeting deadlines
Working Knowledge of ISO, FMEA, and SPC
Familiarity with all Microsoft products. Proficient in Excel, Access

Preferred

3-5 Years of Experience (Assembly Setting experience)
