Sales Application Engineer

Responsibilities
Drive New Business Growth: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strong “hunter” mentality. Expand our customer base by targeting new markets and industries
Lead Generation & Conversion: Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and technical consultation to successful onboarding and post-sale support
Strategic Customer Development: Build and nurture long-term relationships with new clients to ensure sustained revenue growth and customer satisfaction
Customer Relationship Building: Develop trust-based relationships by understanding customer needs and aligning our solutions to meet their technical and business objectives
Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with internal engineering, product, and support teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to loyal customer
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations to prospective clients, leveraging your electronics knowledge to address complex challenges
All other duties as required and domestic travel at 20-30%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
Proficiency in Japanese (business-level or higher) is required
Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably in the electronics industry
Strong understanding of electronic components, systems, and applications
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and a passion for exceeding targets
Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers' needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach
