Paralegal, Consumer Litigation
Tesla is seeking a talented Paralegal to join their Legal team at the Palo Alto location. The role will directly support the Consumer Litigation team, assisting with the management of litigation processes and drafting legal documents.

Responsibilities
Support internal and external litigation counsel in all stages of litigation
Assist with the factual development and analysis of cases, including talking with the relevant business partners, gathering and reviewing documents, and creating timelines
Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, drafting written responses to discovery, and setting up and maintaining document review platforms
Draft basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters
Prepare court documents for filing
Communicate with opposing parties and negotiate settlements
Maintain the case file and litigation calendar and monitor case dockets
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience handing litigation matters. Consumer litigation background a plus
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification preferred or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
Understanding of litigation motion practice, discovery, arbitration, trial, and appellate procedure
Strong organizational, analytical, fact-finding, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a high volume of matters, work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines, and oversee multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic with a goal-oriented focus as well as flexibility to take on new areas of responsibilities
