Responsibilities

Lead the development effort within their workstream, recommending technical designs and developing solutions for the more complex user stories
Assign user stories to mid-level developers and system administrators, providing guidance as needed to ensure a quality output

Required

5+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, including core platform and one or more advanced modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM, SecOps, GRC)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required
At least 1 ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) is required
Proficient in scripting and development such as JavaScript
Experience with Integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and third-party systems
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical implementation within ServiceNow
Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex workflows, business rules, and UI policies
Demonstrated experience in configuring Service Portal
Ability to lead design discussions, translate requirements into technical specifications, and mentor junior developers
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive in design discussions with the client
Experience in writing technical documents
US Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of experience
ITIL Certification
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Highly desired: Hands-on experience implementing or configuring ServiceNow AI capabilities—including Now Assist, predictive intelligence, agentic solutions, and machine-learning–driven workflows—is a strong plus
Exposure to architectural frameworks
Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
