Responsible for the direct and indirect patient care duties assigned to them, following the policies and procedures of the institution
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will assist with patient care, including but not limited to the following: Scrubbing, circulating, and documenting diagnostic and interventional heart caths, diagnostic and interventional peripheral, PFO, ASD, TAVR and EKOS, Impella, TEE, Cardioversion, IVC filter, periocardiocentesis, IABP, CardioMEMS, Temporary pacemakers, Valvuloplasty procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
Current License as RT in the State of Texas
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
Preferred
Previous cath lab experience
