Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Business Unit Teams to achieve production goals by leading problem-solving efforts and implementing error-proofing at the production processes that improve Cost of Quality

Lead quality improvement efforts using 8D problem-solving methodology and quality improvement tools

Develop and implement quality systems and changes that promote continuous improvement

Manage the Quality Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) program

Work closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to initiate, develop, and implement design and process improvement initiatives to improve product quality and to reduce costs

Engage with Supplier Quality Engineering and Procurement Teams to solve non-conforming purchased parts issues

Developing, maintaining, and reviewing Quality KPIs for the Business Unit Teams

Required

Experience in quality engineering or a related field

Knowledge of 8D problem-solving methodology and quality improvement tools

Ability to develop and implement quality systems and changes

Experience managing Quality Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs

Strong collaboration skills to work with Design and Manufacturing Engineers

Experience engaging with Supplier Quality Engineering and Procurement Teams

Ability to develop, maintain, and review Quality KPIs
