Radiologic Technologist

The Staff Pad is partnering with a hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico to hire a Full Time Radiologic Technologist. This role involves interpreting orders, operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining records in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

Interpret orders prescribed by physicians and healthcare providers
Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
Prepare and position patients correctly for imaging procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures; explain processes as needed
Administer IVs containing contrast dyes to enhance imaging
Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information
Participate in ongoing training and professional development in CT technology and techniques

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyARRT certificationBLS/CPR certificationCT equipment operationPatient safety

Required

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
ARRT certification
BLS/CPR certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
Satisfactory background check and drug screen required

Preferred

1 year of experience preferred
