Adjunct Instructor for Accounting
Lincoln University of Missouri is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Accounting in the School of Business. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in both face-to-face and online formats, while maintaining expertise in the field and collaborating with faculty for curriculum development.

Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies of instruction for the enhancement of learning aligned with ACBSP standards
Collaborate with other faculty members for the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum
Provide appropriate classroom and online instruction for students enrolled in business course(s)
Maintain expertise in the field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops and classes for self-improvement and/or professional enhancement
Desired discipline-specific teaching with a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness
Show commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Business. Maintain professional development activities
Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum master's degree in accounting or an accounting-related discipline from a regionally accredited institution
A satisfactory criminal background check

Exceptional interest in teaching accounting and providing mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students
Teaching experience in methodology, curriculum development, evaluation or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills no later than the first year of teaching
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
The ability to teach in a diverse population of students
