Sapiens Development is a technology company seeking a strategic and technically skilled Solution Architect & Business Analyst to lead the planning, design, and implementation of a new multi-vendor eCommerce marketplace built on Optimizely Commerce. This hybrid role involves business analysis, cloud architecture, and hands-on leadership to ensure a scalable, high-performing solution.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to define business goals, KPIs, and marketplace requirements

Lead discovery sessions, gather and document business and technical requirements

Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories

Support platform configuration and customization planning aligned with business objectives

Own the end-to-end solution design for the Optimizely Commerce platform

Define architecture for integrations with PIM, ERP, OMS, payment gateways, tax engines, and search

Ensure scalability, performance, and security across the solution

Guide implementation of marketplace-specific flows: seller onboarding, KYC, commissions, and returns

Serve as the technical lead for development teams during implementation

Set development standards, review technical deliverables, and support CI/CD practices

Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to ensure quality, observability, and compliance (e.g., PCI)

Required

6+ years of experience in eCommerce solution delivery

3+ years in a Solution Architect or Technical Lead role

Proven experience with Optimizely Commerce Cloud (B2B/B2C)

Strong understanding of marketplace architecture and business flows

Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), and performance optimization

Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred

Optimizely certifications (Commerce, Architect, or Developer)

Experience with experimentation, personalization, and CMS capabilities within Optimizely

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and headless commerce architectures

Background in secure cloud deployments and compliance (e.g., PCI, GDPR)
