Responsibilities
Assemble drone platforms (Thunder Tiger or similar) from mechanical and electrical components into fully operational UAVs
Integrate and validate embedded systems: STM32, ESP32, BMS modules, and various sensors
Connect and calibrate IMUs, barometers, GPS, RF and Bluetooth modules for high-reliability data transfer
Perform fine-pitch SMD soldering and support custom PCB builds for prototype iterations
Route cables, power lines, and shielding to ensure EMI/EMC compliance and EW-resilience
Participate in field testing, troubleshoot hardware failures, and iterate designs
Collaborate with embedded, autonomy, and software teams to align system-level integration
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in UAV or robotics hardware assembly and integration
Strong knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers and peripheral communication (UART, SPI, I2C)
Practical experience with ESP32 and wireless communication (Bluetooth, RF)
Familiarity with IMU calibration and sensor data validation
Skilled in SMD soldering and PCB rework/assembly
Experience with battery systems and BMS-based power control
Understanding of electrical noise mitigation, grounding, and signal integrity in RF-sensitive environments
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, BOMs, and mechanical layouts
Willingness to support in-field testing, rapid prototyping, and documentation
Preferred
Experience with ArduPilot or PX4-based UAV platforms
Background in tactical hardware design or defense-grade robotics
Knowledge of thermal management, ruggedization techniques, and conformal coating
English level not lower than B1 (Intermediate)
Familiarity with Git, Jira, and collaborative hardware development workflows
