They are seeking a Tax and Accounting Manager who will lead complex tax engagements, mentor team members, and build long-term relationships with clients while working remotely.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state returns for individuals and business entities including S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships
Provide strategic, year-round tax planning and advisory
Review work prepared by junior team members and offer mentorship and training
Conduct technical tax research and ensure accurate compliance
Perform closing journal entries, accounting cleanup, and QuickBooks reviews
Lead virtual client meetings to discuss financials, projections, and tax strategy
Qualification
Required
10 or more successful tax seasons preparing both individual and business returns
2 or more years reviewing and coaching staff in a public accounting environment
Strong knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and advisory best practices
Experience with QuickBooks (UltraTax familiarity is a plus)
Excellent communication skills, time management, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting
CPA or EA designation (required)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years in public accounting or a similar tax and advisory role
