Responsibilities
Performs all CT exams in a professional manner obtaining consistently high-quality images
Maintains scheduled workload while accommodating adds on requests
Ensures radiation safety protection for self, co-workers, patients, physicians and visitors
Documents and records information required on Images in PACS, and Cerner Radnet system
Provides appropriate patient history to Radiologists and enters this information into PACS
Qualification
Required
Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible
CT certification required within one year of employment and maintained thereafter
BLS required within six months of employment
Minimum two years as a registered x-ray tech
Good written and verbal communication skills
Typing and basic computer skills required
Must successfully complete the pre-employment assessment
Preferred
Previous CT experience preferred
