PCCW Global is a leading telecommunications provider, and they are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Planning and Analytics. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability, leveraging insights from data analytics and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft comprehensive business plans aligned with the organization's overall strategic objectives

Develop growth strategies, including new product/service offerings, market expansion, and diversification initiatives

Perform financial analysis and modelling to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of business plans

Recommend resource allocation, budgeting, and investment decisions to optimize business performance

Design and implement analytical frameworks to assess business performance against strategic objectives

Utilize data analytics tools to derive insights from large datasets and inform business strategies

Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings and strategic recommendations for stakeholders

Conduct scenario analysis to understand potential business impacts and support strategic decision-making

Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data collection processes and ensure data integrity for analysis

Establish effective performance measurement systems to track the success of business plans

Analyze and interpret performance data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management, enabling evidence-based decision-making

Contribute to the development of best practices and the optimization of planning processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or a related field

Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in business planning, data analysis, strategic management, or consulting in the telecom industry

Proven track record of developing and executing successful business plans that drive growth and profitability

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and senior leadership

Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the telecom sector is a plus

Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and project management tools

Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the ability to thrive under pressure

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

Preferred

MBA or advanced degree preferred

Knowledge in SQL, Looker Studio is an advantage
