Responsibilities
Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for electrical systems
Perform engineering calculations such as voltage drop, load flow, fault current, arc flash, conduit/tray fill, and protective device coordination
Determine substation and motor control center loading and equipment sizing
Review and integrate vendor drawings and provide electrical engineering input on interdisciplinary designs
Support scope development, procurement documentation, and construction packages
Conduct fieldwork for data collection, verification, construction support, and commissioning/startup activities
Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance to the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
Minimum 7 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or EPC projects
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other applicable industry standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with electrical power system modeling software (e.g., ETAP, SKM, EasyPower) is a plus
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or within cross-functional virtual teams
