4+ years expBakerHostetler is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Litigation Group. The candidate will work on a variety of matters in federal and state courts, collaborating with some of the largest companies across various industries.
Responsibilities
Experience in complex commercial litigation, including, but not limited to, business disputes, corporate governance, class actions, antitrust, false advertising, and/or securities
Courtroom experience
Prior experience with an AM Law 100 firm
A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school and having graduated in the top 30% of the class
Must be admitted to practice law in the state of California
Exceptional project management skills
Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills (law review or other comparable experience indicating significant research and writing skills is a plus)
Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to work well in groups and succeed in a collaborative team environment
Exceptional work ethic
